ROGERS, AR (KNWA) – Investigators with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) have arrested three people for breaking into several cars Friday night.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Michelle Garner, Brandon Hayes and Jeffrey Heathman were driving around Rogers, smoking methamphetamine. A BCSO deputy pulled their car over for an improperly displayed license plate. The report says Garner gave deputies consent to search the car. Investigators say they found scales and a small amount of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Garner told the deputies Hayes and Heathman broke the window on two cars in the Chuy’s parking lot earlier in the night and stole a purse. She says they then went shopping at the Promenade. While they were at the mall, Garner says Heathman broke into another car at the Malco theater and stole some items.
The Rogers Police Department was able to match the stolen property with reports from the car break-in victims.
All three face multiple felony charges and are being held in the Benton County Jail.
