LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The tornado watch that was in effect for much of Arkansas has been canceled. The severe weather threat has diminished, although a fast moving band of showers and thunderstorms will race across the State tonight. The primary threat will be strong gusty winds, which will also occur outside of storms.

Winds may gust over 40 MPH at times, with some tree branches down and some isolated power outages. The storms will move across the State mainly between 9 PM and Midnight, then will move East of Arkansas after Midnight.
