LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – UPDATE – The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been cancelled. Showers/storms may linger this afternoon into the evening, but they are not forecast to reach severe parameters.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for parts of Northern and Northeast Arkansas through 6 PM. Storms have developed across Northern Arkansas with a history of producing large hail. Large hail and strong wind gusts are possible within the watch.
A few showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible for Central Arkansas, although strong storms are not expected.
