BOONE COUNTY, Ark. – A former Boone County teacher was charged with rape and sexual assault on Friday, according to the Harrison Daily Times.
Brittney A. Breedlove, 29, was arrested in September after being accused of raping and sexually assaulting two underage boys. She was later released on a $25,000 bond.
The Harrison Daily Times reported that she pleaded not guilty to her charges on Friday.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from Arkansas State Police on August 21 concerning the minors. After a three-week investigation, Breedlove was arrested, a news release states.
Breedlove is a former teacher at Valley Springs Middle School, according to the school district’s website. She taught fifth grade literacy.
