FORT SMITH, AR — A Fort Smith man is dead and one is behind bars after an early morning shooting.
Police responded to a call of a man down in the street near Wells Lake Road.
Emergency crews found 44-year-old Brent Allen Morrison dead of a gun shot wound.
According to police, detectives interviewed John Paul Suleski who was at the scene.
After the interview Suleski was arrested on suspicion of one count of murder in the first degree and unlawful discharge of a firearm in city limits.
He was booked into the Sebastian County Detention Center with no bond.
