NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — North Little Rock Police arresting and charging four men for aggravated robbery and capital murder in the shooting death of U.S. Airman.
According to court documents, Darius Stewart and Drequan Robinson were inside the convenience store on W. Broadway Friday night.
Investigators believe Keith Keshawn Harris and Keith Lamont Harris Jr., who are brothers, provided the weapons and were waiting in the getaway car.
Court documents show Keshawn had a GPS ankle monitor from the Pulaski County Juvenile Probation Office for a crime committed back in December.
According to Arkansas Community Correction, he also was serving a 5-year probation through the adult system since May of 2018.
After reaching out to the Pulaski County Juvenile Probation Office, we were told there was only one person who could tell us who monitors the electronic bracelets. After 20 minutes of waiting, that person avoided our questions by going out the back door.
However, a local monitoring company confirms the GPS monitors are only as good as the person supervising.
Though we could not confirm Keshawn’s conditions, we’re told some bond conditions allow a person to be anywhere at any time, but they can be tracked if needed.
The court documents state the four men were driving around Little Rock and North Little Rock for an hour around 11:30 at night looking for a place to rob.
It begs the question, how can a convicted thief with an ankle monitor go unnoticed? The answer to that question left through the back door leaving our question open.
