GREENWOOD, AR (KNWA) – The Greenwood Police Department (Sebastian County) says it’s investigating a murder-suicide plot at East Hills Middle School.
According to investigators, a 13-year-old student was planning to kill three other students and then himself.
Police intervened and the student was taken to a mental health treatment facility.
Detectives say they plan to meet with prosecutors this afternoon, and because it is an active investigation, they cannot provide any further details about the case.
