LITTLE ROCK, AR – A group of Arkansas National Guardsmen receive the welcome home they’ve been waiting for.

150 soldiers reunited with their families after a nine month deployment overseas.

Greeted with balloons, signs, hugs and kisses, soldiers Fox 16 News spoke with said it just feels great to be back home in the Natural State, their loved ones agreeing. 

“Shaky, couldn’t hardly breathe you know when I started thinking about it. Good to see my husband,” said Jennifer Henderson, wife of a solider. 

The guardsmen spent time in Kuwait working on infrastructure improvement projects.They completed 72 projects which included road construction, drainage improvement and heavy equipment operations.
