Update (4:05 p.m.):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A second arrest has been made in a pair of robberies.
The North Little Rock Police Department says Niyailieka Brooks, 20, is facing two counts of aggravated robbery.
She’s accused of being involved in the holdup of a Subway on Baucum Pike last week and a gas station robbery back in February.
The NLRPD says Brooks gave a statement admitting to being the driver of the vehicle for both of the North Little Rock robberies.
Original story (April 20, 10 a.m.):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A local man has turned himself in and is now charged with committing a string of robberies.
The North Little Rock Police Department says Detrict Montez Holloway, 29, surrendered Friday night.
Police say he gave a “detailed statement to robbing the Gas & Go at 300 Lake Lane on Feb. 2. and Subway at 11100 Baucum Pike on April 14.
According to his arrest record on the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office website, Holloway is also charged with two robberies in Sherwood. (See related story attached above).
