MAYFLOWER, AR – A Perry County man has been found dead at his tornado-damaged business in Mayflower.
The Mayflower Police Department (MPD) identifies him as Lendell Boydston, 50, of Bigelow.
Police say the businessman was driving a Bobcat utility vehicle Sunday night sometime after 6 to clear tornado debris from the property where Mayflower RV had been at 87 Interstate Drive. The vehicle overturned and he was killed on impact, police said.
Investigators are not sure how it happened. They say Boydston’s daughter had been looking for him and found him Monday morning around 8:30.
The MPD says the agency had contact with Boydston over the past few months regarding calls about people trying to steal items from his property.
