LAKE CITY, AR (KAIT) – The Lake City Police Department confirmed two people died after a Saturday night crash involving two cars.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highways 18 and 135 around 8:45 p.m. according to Lake City Police Chief Winfred Saffell.
Two people died at the scene.
A third passenger was flown to a Little Rock hospital.
Their condition is unknown Sunday.
The crash shut down the highway until nearly Midnight.
Officers are working to determine what caused the accident.
The names of the victims are not being released pending the notification of the family.
