BAXTER COUNTY, AR – The sheriff’s office has arrested two people for stealing two personal watercraft from a storage facility on Highway 62 in the Henderson area.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) says the owner reported the watercraft stolen on June 22 after being notified by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office in Salem that they had recovered their property.

The owner told the BCSO that he had last seen the personal watercraft (a 2001 Sea Doo and a 2002 Sea Doo) on June 12 where they were stored at Brigg’s Iron Horse Boat and RV Storage in Henderson.  The two watercraft were valued together at approximately $4,650.

This week, investigators interviewed three people identified by Fulton County authorities, two of whom admitted being involved in the thefts and were arrested.

Darren Norman, 29, and Amanda Crawford, 28, both of Salem, are charged with theft of property. Their bonds were set at $5,000 each.
