FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA) – Fayetteville Police say a woman ‘pimped’ out a 16-year-old girl for prostitution on the internet.
According to investigators, Sherwanda Wells, 35, posted prostitution ads for the teen to Backpage.com.
Wells also reportedly had ads of her own on the site.
Police say Wells admitted she used her phone credit card processor to pay for the ads.
She faces a charge of promoting prostitution.
