SHERWOOD, AR – The two thieves stealing from Fort Thompson Sporting Goods must not have cared if they were caught on camera or not.

Fort Thompson Sporting Goods surveillance cameras catch two guys hooking up a $4,000 cooking grill to their truck and driving off on Sunday around 9am in broad daylight.

“It makes me feel sick actually,” said store owner, Tom Denniston. “Because dadgum, you can’t keep anything without someone trying to steal it.”

Denniston says, just like any other business, they fall victim to theft.

“We get ripped off all the time,” said Denniston.

It’s a cost of doing business but they’ve never seen anything like this.

“This is really the first major thing we’ve had stolen from outside,” added Denniston.

The surveillance video shows an 80’s model, black Ford F-150 with side bed rails, chrome rims and a very large rusted area on the top of the cab.

Two guys got out of the truck, hooked up the grill to the truck and drove off, according to Denniston.

“We want the grill back,” pleaded Denniston. “I hope we get it and I hope the guys get in trouble for it.”

To help with the investigation, Denniston is offering up a $500 reward for any info that may send these two brazen thieves to jail and bring the grill back to where it belongs.

“Just like to catch em,” insisted Denniston. “Sure would.”

Sherwood Police detectives are investigating this crime.

If you think you have any information that could lead them to the thieves call the Sherwood Police Department at (501) 835-1425.
