KENSETT, AR – A Beebe man has died after being hit by a train.
It happened shortly before 3 a.m. today at the Martin Luther King Ave. railroad crossing.
The victim is identified as Walter Lee Hart, 58.
The White County Sheriff’s Office says a Union Pacific train hit Hart.
The incident shutdown the crossing for several hours but IT has since been reopened.
The Kensett Police Department and White County Sheriff’s Office are working to determine why Hart was in the area.
