LONOKE COUNTY, AR — The Lonoke County Sheriff says his office is investigating a complaint against the county clerk.
Christina James runs a Facebook page called Concerned Citizens of Lonoke County.
Recently, she says County Clerk Larry Clarke got frustrated at some of her posts and that Clarke responded to them calling her “an ugly little troll.”
She says he posted other offensive comments as well.
“It’s kind of embarrassing to put it out there but I mean, it’s wrong and it’s a public official and I don’t use that kind of language to him or any of them and I’m just a citizen,” James said.
James calls what Clarke did harassment and that’s why she filed a police report against him.
Clarke tells us he did not make those Facebook posts and he thinks someone hacked into his account.
