JONESBORO, AR (News release) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Thursday that season tickets are now on sale for the Red Wolves’ 2014 football campaign, which will mark A-State’s centennial season on the gridiron.
The three-time defending Sun Belt Conference champions and back-to-back GoDaddy Bowl victors will celebrate their 100th season fielding a football team throughout the upcoming season, and an April 25 season ticket renewal deadline has been set for the upcoming centennial year.
The A-State football program’s inaugural season was 1911, but the school didn’t field a team during the 1918 and 1942-44 years. Blake Anderson, named the Red Wolves’ 30th all-time head football coach on Dec. 19, 2013, will lead Arkansas State into its 100th season in 2014.
All season ticket prices remain the same as they were in 2013 with exception of Section S, which will be $100 through the April 25 season ticket renewal deadline. Following the deadline, ticket prices for the reserved benchback seats between the 40-yard lines on the lower east side of the stadium will be $115.
Additional ticket prices include $175 for reserved chairback seating in sections D, E, F, CCL and DDL, all centrally located on the lower and upper west side of the stadium. There is a $200 per seat donation to the Red Wolves Foundation for section E and a $100 donation for sections D, F, CCL and DDL required to purchase season tickets in these areas.
Reserved bench seats located in all other sections on the west side of the stands and in sections Q and R on the east side of the stadium are priced at $115 each. Tickets for the remaining general admission sections of the stadium are available for $75.
A complete stadium seating map and ticket prices are available on AStateRedWolves.com, the official Web site of A-State Athletics. Fans can access the information by clicking on the Tickets tab located at the top of the home page.
Season tickets are on sale at the A-State Ticket Office, located at the Convocation Center’s lower red entrance. The ticket office can also be contacted at 870-972-2781 and tickets may be purchased online at tickets.astate.edu.
