LITTLE ROCK, AR — As winter weather moves into the Natural State, some Arkansans are already without power.

A spokesperson for Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas says as of 5:45 Thursday the number of members had climbed to 1,300 as of 5:45 Thursday.

Entergy Arkansas saw outages increase from 335 at 4:45 p.m. Thursday to 710 just an hour later.

Winter weather entered the northern part of Arkansas on Thursday, and is expected to sprawl throughout much of the state on Friday.
