LITTLE ROCK, AR – A jury has just reported it’s deadlocked in the retrial of a former officer with the Little Rock Police Department accused of manslaughter in a suspect’s death.

The panel entered the courtroom at 3:00 this afternoon only to announce the stalemate before returning to the jury room for continued deliberations in the case against Josh Hastings.

The case stems from the August 2012 shooting death of Bobby Moore, 15, at the scene of a car theft investigation.

The first trial for Hastings back in June ended with a hung jury.

The jury is deliberating three options: Guilty of Manslaughter, Guilty of Negligent Homicide, or Not Guilty of Homicide.

More details to come.
