FAULKNER COUNTY, AR — Fleeing from the Faulkner County Courthouse turns out to be an especially bad move for a man who will now spend the rest of his life in prison.

A jury took 19 minutes to find Rolandis Chatmon guilty of aggravated robbery and other felonies related to a 2012 incident.

After hearing the guilty verdict, Chatmon told the Bailiff he needed to use the restroom.

According to prosecutors, he took off running, got caught on a fence and was returned to court for his sentencing, where the jury sentenced him to life in prison.
