CONWAY COUNTY, AR – Police say a 16-year-old boy died after falling off an overlook at Petit Jean Mountain Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, just after 12:00 pm near the Cedar Falls Overlook, a witness saw a teenager fall from the bluffs, and heard people screaming. When Conway County deputies arrived, they found the body of 16-year-old Allen Walters, of Morrilton who had been hiking with a group of friends, at the bottom of the falls.
Walters was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies do not believe foul play was involved.
