WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (AP) — Supporters of the men known as the West Memphis Three say an anonymous donor has offered a $100,000 reward for new information that leads to the arrest and conviction in the 1993 deaths of three Cub Scouts.

Billboards and radio advertising will promote the reward and encourage anyone with credible information to call a confidential tip line.

Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley were released from prison last year after prosecutors agreed to a rare plea agreement in which the men entered guilty pleas but maintained their innocence in the boys’ deaths.

Echols’ attorney, Patrick Benca, says backers of the West Memphis Three are looking for credible information, not theories, in the deaths of Stevie Branch, Christopher Byers and Michael Moore.
