FORREST CITY, AR — The Forrest City Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting.

According to reports, police were called to a residence located at 122 West Sharp Street around 7:51 a.m. on December 20. When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as Larry Stacy, in the front room of the house, bleeding from multiple gun shot wounds. Stacy was taken to the Forrest City Medical Center where he later died.

During an investigation of the shooting, police found a vehicle belonging to the suspect, 48-year-old Rolando Westbrook of Forrest City, at a house in Haynes. Police issued a warrant for Westbrook’s arrest on charges of first degree murder. After executing a search warrant on Westbrook’s home, he was found with a gun shot wound to the head and a woman was found in the house deceased from gun shot wounds. The name of the female victim is being withheld pending notification of family members. Westbrook was taken to the hospital, and his current condition is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
