You can watch Mitch’s reports Monday-Friday on Fox16 News at 5:30 and 9. Mitch also produces a weekly Arkansas Crimewatch segment that airs Sunday nights at 9.
Mitch’s passion for journalism began at a young age. He strives on giving victim’s a voice, holding the powerful accountable and sharing stories of people who are in need of help.
Mitch has covered the riots in Ferguson, the ambush on police officers in Baton Rouge, the Little Rock mass shooting where 25 people were shot in a nightclub, the numerous executions in 2017 and many severe weather events.
Around Christmas in 2016, Mitch was the first reporter in southern Arkansas to cover a tornado that had ripped through the small town of Bearden. Many homes and businesses were destroyed. He along with producers, anchors and reporters were awarded an Emmy for their work during the severe weather.
Before coming to Arkansas, he served as a news anchor, reporter and producer at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Before jumping into TV, Mitch worked in radio as a news anchor and producer in St. Louis, Missouri and in West Michigan, where he grew up.
In his free time, Mitch enjoys hiking, photography and finding the hidden treasures Arkansas has to offer.
