Ben Creighton joined the Fox16 Sports team as weekend anchor in August 2016.
He covers college and high school programs across the state and plays a key role in Fox16’s Fearless Friday presentations, including football highlight shows and state championship game broadcasts.
Ben came to Little Rock from KEZI 9 News in Eugene, OR, where he had been Sports Anchor and Reporter since February 2015.
A Broadcast Journalism graduate of Washington State University, Ben held internships at 710 ESPN Seattle and Turner Sports in Atlanta, Georgia, where he helped with production and created content for NBA TV and the MLB on TBS. Prior to his arrival to KEZI, Ben was a play-by-play broadcaster for the University of Portland men’s basketball team on the Portland Sports Network.
Ben was born in Boston but raised in Portland, OR. Ben is ecstatic to cover Central Arkansas sports, as well as call Little Rock his home. He credits his love of sports to his Dad, who would take him to Blazers and Ducks games, and watch SportsCenter with him every night.
