BELLA VISTA, AR (KNWA) – A Benton County couple is jailed for the death of a 6-year-old boy.
Police say the child was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Mercy in Bella Vista on March 29, where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner later ruled his death a homicide.
On Monday, Bella Vista investigators arrested Mauricio Alejandro Torres, 45, and Cathy Lynn Torres, 43 on warrants for Capital Murder, Rape and Battery.
Police are not yet releasing any further details.
