PINE BLUFF, AR – The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating the robbery of two elderly people.
On January 12 shortly before 3 p.m. 81-year-old Will Wright and 84-year-old Mary Franklin arrived at a home on E 34th Ave after leaving Brookshire’s at 28th Ave and Hazel St.
Shortly after they arrived, police say they were approached by two black males, one of whom was armed with a handgun.
According to a report Wright was robbed of his cash and Franklin was robbed of her purse.
Police are asking for help from anyone who was in the neighborhood at the time of the Robbery or at the 28th and Hazel Brookshire’s shortly before 3 p.m.
They are asked to please contact the police if they noticed anything that might lead to the identification of the suspects.

Police released photos from the store’s security system has what is believed to be the suspect vehicle on it. It appears to be a late 90’s model Oldsmobile Intrigue tan or gray in color. The photo depicts the victim’s vehicle (blue circle) with the suspect vehicle (red circle) behind it.
