BENTON, AR — Police are investigating after the Benton Sports Complex was vandalized overnight.
The Benton Police Department (BPD) says officers responded to the complex around 4:30 Monday morning, where a school employee informed them that numerous buildings and equipment had been vandalized.
Spray-painted graffiti appeared on buildings, the stadium, ticket office, buses and other school property, according to BPD.
Police say detectives and school resource officers are diligently working leads in the investigation, and ask anyone with information about this crime to contact them at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.
