LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police in West Des Moines, Iowa are following the Beverly Carter case in hopes it will solve a real estate agent’s murder in that state.

n 2011, Ashley Okland was working at a West Des Moines model home and real estate office when she was shot to death.

“Any kind of crime of violence against a realtor–it`s something that peaks our interest, We`re going to look deeper into it to see if there is any possibility or connection, and until we rule that out,  we`re going to keep looking,” said Ken O’Brien of the WDM Police Department. 

Police have followed hundreds of leads, but  they say the case has started to grow cold in recent months.

“It slowed down in the number of leads so we`re at the point where we want to keep it in the public`s eye and anytime anyone has information we want to hear from them,” said O’Brien. 

There is a $150, 000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. WDM Police said even the smallest detail could help.
