LITTLE ROCK, AR – One of two suspects jailed in the murder of a Pulaski County realtor last year has entered a guilty plea in the case.
Crystal Lowery, 41, of Jacksonville was charged in the kidnapping-killing of Beverly Carter.
This morning at the Pulaski County Courthouse she changed her plea from not guilty to guilty of first degree murder and kidnapping.
She was sentenced to 30 years in state prison and must serve 21 years before becoming eligible for parole.
She must also testify against her former husband, Arron Lewis, who is awaiting trial in the case.
