LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police arrested an 18 year old they believe is responsible for robberies in the River Market area after a foot chase.
Foot patrol officers reported hearing a gunshot come from the north side of the 200 block of East Markham around 2am Friday morning. Shortly after hearing the shot, they say they saw two men run across the street, followed by a woman yelling that the men had just robbed her and her friends.
According to the incident report, the officers chased the suspects and one of them, Dion Robinson, was tackled in an alley by a security guard who saw the chase.
Police say Robinson had a pistol, as well as wallets and phones that had been reported stolen in an armed robbery reported earlier in the same area.
