Officers with the North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) and its SWAT unit are outside a home on Skyline Drive.
That’s where a dispute between a tenant and their landlord allegedly touched off the incident.
The tenant called police after allegedly seeing a weapon on the landlord. Police went to the house and have not been able to get the landlord to come outside.
The tenant and landlord live in a duplex. The landlord lives on one side, the tenant on the other.
No other people are in the house with the landlord. Police say they may be on some type of medication.
Negotiators are trying to get them to surrender.
