LITTLE ROCK, AR – Stop the Violence Leaders are urging the public to help solve a Little Rock murder.
68-year-old Fred Pohnka Junior was found dead inside his home on South Jackson Street Wednesday morning.
Police say Pohnka’s home had been ransacked but there was no sign that anyone forced their way inside. Reverend Benny Johnson says community needs to come forward with answers.
“He is the pillar of the community. Now why would someone do something to such a nice person, an innocent person. All of this is senseless. When you have a such a person that is such a respected as he was Mr. Parker was. He needs to be off the street,” Johnson says.
Pohnka worked as a security guard at Regions Bank. No suspects have been named in his killing.
