CONWAY, AR – Just days after a daughter of a former Dallas Cowboys player was found dead in her apartment the suspect is found in a motel room in Conway.
Dallas Police said Herbert De Costa Edmondson III died Thursday at a Motel 6 in Conway. Police say he committed suicide.
Edmondson was possibly romantically involved with Sharneen Norman and police were looking for him as a person of interest in her murder.
On Monday, when Pettis Norman hadn’t heard from his daughter, he asked police to go check on her apartment and that’s when he heard the news. Norman says he and his daughter were incredibly close.
“I want them to know that she was a loving person. She loved to have fun with people, laugh with people. She had a big laugh,” says Norman.
Norman says his daughter would have turned 50 on Tuesday.
