Update: Arrest in El Dorado December Murder

Update (Jan. 14):
EL DORADO, AR (KTVE) – A south Arkansas man is facing capital murder charges in connection with a December shooting that left one person dead.

Shunvontia Bullock, 25, was arrested on Monday. He’s accused of killing Kristopher Cook in December. 

Cook was found shot on December 18 along East Cedar Street in El Dorado. A second person, Cliffdeon Minor, was also shot but his injuries were not life-threatening.

EL DORADO, AR – One man is dead following a shooting at a home.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday at 1215 Cedar Street.

The victim found dead at the scene is identified as Kristopher Cook, 22.

El Dorado Police say a second man suffered injuries that were not life threatening. Cliffdeon Miner, 22, was taken to the Medical Center of South Arkansas for treatment.

Investigators say the victims are believed to have been friends.

Police say the cause of the shooting is still unknown, and they are still questioning witnesses.
