Update (Jan. 27):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – A local teen is being held without bond after being charged as an adult in a weekend robbery-murder.

Tyveen Davis, 16, faces charges in a Saturday night incident that killed one man and critically injured another.

It happened around 10:45 in the 10300 block of Baseline Road.

Victim Angel Gonzalez, 30, died after being taken to the hospital. The other wounded man, Uriel Costilla-Mata, 20, was in critical condition at last report. Police say both were found lying in the street.

Costilla told police he and Gonzalez were trying to buy a gun from three men they met on social media when the shooting occurred.

During the transaction, the men pulled a gun and started shooting, hitting Gonzalez and Costilla multiple times.

The other two suspects have not yet been identified.

Davis was taken into custody around 9 Monday night. According to his arrest affidavit, he was charged with capital murder and battery based on statements and evidence collected.

Update (Jan. 25, 11:30 p.m.): 
LITTLE ROCK, AR — The victims in the shooting on Baseline Road Saturday night have been identified as 20-year-old Uriel Costilla-Mata and 30-year-old Angel Gonzalez.

Gonzalez died as a result of his injuries.

Costilla told police they were trying to buy a gun from someone they met on social media when the shooting occurred.

Costilla told police they met with three men.

During the transaction, the men pulled a gun and started shooting, hitting Gonzalez and Costilla multiple times.

Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the emergency room of a local hospital.

Costilla has undergone surgery and is in critical condition.

Original Story (Jan. 25 11 a.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR — One person is dead and another listed in critical condition after a Saturday night shooting.

Police initially responded to a call in the 10300 block of Baseline Road around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

Officials say two people were found shot in the roadway.

One victim died shortly after being taken away from the scene. As of late Saturday, the second victim was listed in critical condition.

Little Rock Police didn’t release any information about a suspect or suspects.
