Update (March 25):
PINE BLUFF, AR – Photos have been released of a suspect’s vehicle in a Pine Bluff homicide.

The Pine Bluff Police Department continues to investigate the March 18 shooting death of Christopher Pridgeon, 32.

The local man was shot and killed on the parking lot of the Plaza Hotel.

Police say the suspect drove onto the parking lot in a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo, got out and then fired several shots from the driver’s side. 

Those shots are believed to have struck and killed Pridgeon.

Update (March 19):
PINE BLUFF, AR – Pine Bluff Police have identified the man killed in an early Wednesday morning shooting at the Plaza Hotel.

Christopher Pridgeon, 32, of Pine Bluff, was found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 2 a.m.

PINE BLUFF, AR – The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) is investigating an early morning homicide.  

Shortly after 2 a.m. officers were called to the Plaza Hotel at #2 Convention Center Drive on a report of a shooting with a man down.  

Officers found the victim lying on the ground with possible gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County deputy coroner. 

The PBPD says its detective division is investigating the death as a homicide. The body will be sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
