Update (June 24):
PINE BLUFF, AR – A second suspect has been arrested in a Monday night store robbery and shooting that left a clerk dead.

The Pine Bluff Police Department says Sha’quille Ali Carter, 18, was taken into custody Wednesday morning at a home in the city.

It’s not yet known what charges he will face.

On Tuesday night, the PBPD said it had arrested the shooter in the case and identified him as Lorenzo Kellon, 23. He will be charged in the death of Hardip Singh, 46, of Pine Bluff.

Update (June 23, 9:30 p.m.):
PINE BLUFF, AR – The man police say gunned down a Pine Bluff convenience store clerk on Monday night has been arrested.

Pine Bluff Police say the alleged shooter, Lorenzo Kellon, 23, is now in custody.

Police are still looking for Sha’quille Ali Carter, 18, who is also wanted in connection with the robbery.

Update (June 23, 10 a.m.):
PINE BLUFF, AR – Police have identified the victim and suspect in a deadly Monday night armed robbery.

Sha’quille Ali Carter, 18, is wanted for the shooting death of Hardip Singh, 46, of Pine Bluff.

Carter is 5’6″ tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen riding in a 2000’s model green or pewter colored Cadillac Sedan DeVille with factory rims.

Police say there is a second suspect involved, who was driving the Cadillac, but there is not yet any information on that individual. 

Carter’s last known address is 8600 Community Rd. in Little Rock, but police say he is believed to be in the Pine Bluff area.  

Original story (June 22):
PINE BLUFF, AR – Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that left one person dead.

Just before 8:30, officers were called to 1802 E. Harding, the Big Red, about a robbery. The officers found a man, later determined to be one of the clerks of the store, on the side of the gas station. 

Police say the clerk appeared to have been shot and was pronounced dead just after 9 p.m. by the Jefferson County Coroner.  His name has not been released.

According to a report, during the robbery, a second clerk was stocking the coolers and took cover when a shot was fired and was not injured.

There is not yet any suspect information and detectives with the Pine Bluff Police Department are still investigating. 

This is the fifth homicide in Pine Bluff for 2015.
