Update (Feb. 1): 
LITTLE ROCK, AR — A third man has been arrested in the investigation of the shooting of a Clark County store clerk on Jan. 25.

Craig Alan Wade, 24, was arrested at a hotel near Interstate 30 and 65th street around 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police (ASP) and U.S. Marshals made the arrest.

Wade, of Pine Bluff, was taken into custody without incident.  

The ASP says Wade was identified from a photograph circulated through a State Police news release Thursday evening.

ARKADELPHIA, AR — Authorities have arrested two men in the investigation into the death of a convenience store clerk who was shot early Sunday morning in Clark County.

James Gray, 36, and Laron Edward Williams, 27, both of Pine Bluff, are in custody and are expected to be charged in the death of Christopher Brown, 24.

Brown was working as a clerk when he was shot at 4:43 a.m. inside the Jordan’s Kwick Stop Shell store.

Gray and Williams were taken into custody without incident earlier today in Pine Bluff and have been taken to the Clark County Jail in Arkadelphia.

The two men are expected to be charged with Capital Felony Murder and Armed Robbery.

Arkansas State Police (ASP) continue to search for a third person in the case.
