JACKSONVILLE, AR – In response to a directive from the Department of Defense to stop civilian job growth, the Little Rock Air Force Base announced that 41 civilian personnel positions will be eliminated.
The 41 positions are part 657 nationwide that are being removed from Air Mobility Command, which LRAFB is part of.
“For the majority of our civilians affected by this adjustment we are diligently working to reassign them into other available positions wherever possible,” said Col. Steven Beatty, Director of Manpower, Personnel and Services, Air Mobility Command.
