UAMS – University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is in the need of a HR SR Consultant-Immigration.
The HR Senior Consultant for Immigration will provide analysis of complex immigration issues, serve as the J-1 Program administrator ensuring compliance with federal program regulations, and serve as the central point person for Immigration Services.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related plus 3 years immigration experience. Must have comprehensive knowledge of immigration/employment related laws, regulations, and procedures, experience as a Responsible Officer or Alternate Responsible Officer and experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SEVIS, Word Press, SAP, and Windstar Tax Navigator preferred. Experience with Immigration Case Management system, preferably Tracker and experience in higher education setting preferred.
