NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – The electricity is back on in the North Little Rock/Maumelle area after a Monday morning outage.
Entergy Arkansas says a total of about 2,500 customers were affected.
Entergy Arkansas says a piece of equipment failed in a substation at 2:10 this morning, causing an outage for about 745 customers.
At seven o’clock this morning, Entergy says crews tried re-routing power around the failed component. While this often works, in this case it caused another component to fail, and 1,800 more customers lost power in an area east of Maumelle Boulevard.
Power was restored to the 1,800 at 7:30, and the 745 were back on at 8:15, Entergy said.
