HEBER SPRINGS, AR – The 27th Anniversary World Championship Cardboard Boat Races are Saturday (July 27) on Greers Ferry Lake.
They start at 10:00 a.m. at Sandy Beach.
This year’s theme is “Sailing With the Superheroes.”
Participants will let their imaginations run wild as they build everything from rafts to canoes to monster trucks and even spaceships to see if they’ll float long enough to win the race.
The Captain’s Award will be given to the most creative team and boat. For those that don’t float, they give the Titanic Award for the best and most dramatic sinking!
