The Central Arkansas Rescue Effort (CARE) for Animals is a Little Rock group focused on providing medical care for furry friends without homes and also helping them find homes.

CARE faces the sad reality everyday of animal shelters becoming so full that potential pets are unfortunately put to sleep.

The key to turning this sad trend around is to increase awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering.

If you can’t adopt an animal from a local shelter, CARE encourages you to foster one instead and help prepare them for adoption.

There are also other ways to help, such as volunteering and making a donation.
