LITTLE ROCK, AR – A major drug bust in Northwest Arkansas has led to the seizure of 100 pounds of marijuana valued at $200,000.

Officers from the Arkansas Highway Police (AHP) Division of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) uncovered a significant shipment of illegal drugs in a vehicle along Interstate 40, according to AHP Chief Ron Burks.

As a result of a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon in Crawford County, officers discovered the drugs in the bed of a pickup truck.

The occupants of the truck are identified as Jason Price, 42, and John Magnus, 48, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were reportedly traveling from New Mexico to Tennessee.
