LITTLE ROCK, AR – It’s the eve of a big weekend for shoppers all across the state.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday (August 3), the state will hold its annual sales tax holiday.

The idea is to allow shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies and clothing free of state and local sales tax.

The tax free weekend ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday (August 4).
