BRYANT, AR – Three Little Rock men are jailed in Bryant after being accused of stealing a laptop computer from a woman at a Starbucks restaurant.

It happened Wednesday night in the Alcoa Exchange Shopping Center.

That’s where Bryant Police say the laptop was forcibly taken from the victim after a brief struggle.

A witness told officers before the computer was stolen that three black men kept walking in and out of the store before one of them came inside and sat down for a while but did not order anything. The man then ran over and grabbed the laptop from the woman who was sitting at a table, according to the witness. A brief struggle took place and the victim said she thought the man was going to hit her so she let go of the laptop.

As the suspect ran out of the store, the two other men joined him and all three ran to a vehicle parked nearby and drove off. A witness was able to get the license plate number off the vehicle, which led police to an address on Joyce Court in Little Rock.

With the help of the Little Rock Police Department, Bryant Police were able to get all three suspects in custody and the laptop recovered for the victim.

The suspects were brought to the Bryant Police Department and questioned by investigators and later taken to the Saline County Jail where they were booked in on Robbery and Felony Theft of Property charges.

They are identified as Brandon Tucker, 18, Calvin Stephens, 19 and Jerric Taylor, 21.
