LAKE HAMILTON, AR — Three boats were involved in the crash on Sunday morning at approximately 12:10, just outside of Smyly’s Crab Shack.
A boat left the club going over the speed limit and apparently hit one boat, and then slammed into another, according to the Garland County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO).
The boat sank after ramming the two boats.
The male driver was missing for hours after the wreck.
The Lake Hamilton Fire Department, Arkansas State Police and the GCSO were on the scene searching for the missing man.
The individuals in the two boats that were hit did not suffer any life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing
