Rep. Tim Griffin Touring His District

LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) – Arkansas’s Second District congressman is kicking off a tour to meet with constituents.

Rep. Tim Griffin plans 24 visits in 7 days to talk with Arkansans.

The tour begins today with five stops in the Little Rock area.

“It’s an honor to represent my fellow Arkansans in Washington, and during district work periods when Congress is not holding votes, I regularly meet with folks in my Little Rock office, attend community events and tour as many local businesses and organizations as possible. Listening to what they have to say and seeing firsthand the hard work that they do gives me even greater insight into legislation and issues important to them. I look forward to discussing jobs, tax reform, health care and much more during these 24 visits.”

Rep. Griffin recently announced he will retire from Congress in January 2015, after completing his current term. For the next 14 months, his office will continue to serve the people of the Second District on issues such as legislation, help with a federal agency, Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid, nominations to U.S. Service Academies, tours and tickets in Washington, D.C. and much more. Constituents in need of assistance are encouraged to contact his office by calling (501) 324-5941 or emailing Tim.Griffin@mail.House.gov.
