LITTLE ROCK, AR — Construction work will require lane closures and detours at the Interstate 430/630 “Big Rock” Interchange in Little Rock starting Saturday night.
Crews will be installing steel beams on the new bridge over Shackleford Road.
The following routes will be affected:
Financial Centre Parkway to I-630 eastbound – Financial Centre Parkway traffic will be reduced to 1 lane and detoured to Hermitage Road. Drivers can turn left at Shackleford Road to access Interstate 630.
Shackleford Road northbound traffic will be reduced to 1 lane and detoured to
Interstate 630 eastbound and through the cloverleaf ramps to I-630 west and back to Shackleford Road northbound.
Shackleford Road southbound traffic to eastbound I-630 will be detoured to Markham Street and east to Barrow Road for access. All other southbound traffic will be reduced to 1 lane and detoured to westbound Financial Centre Parkway and back to Shackleford Road using Hermitage Road.
I-630 westbound to Financial Centre Parkway traffic will be reduced to 1 lane, with no detour.
The lane closures and detours will begin Saturday night at 9:00 p.m.
They will continue until Monday morning at 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
